Pakoras Recipe1 cup garbanzo bean flour* 1 cup water 1/2 tsp turmeric cumin powder corriander powder (optional) salt pinch cayenne pepper chopped green onions (optional) ginger, finely chopped (optional) Mix dry ingredients and add half the water. Mix well. Add more water until you have a smooth batter. Add chopped ginger, corriander, and green onions. Dip thin slices of potato, pieces of cauliflower, broccoli, green pepper, onion, hot pepper, eggplant, bananas, etc into batter. Fry in hot oil until golden brown. * If you can't find garbanzo bean flour, try grinding some of you own in a wheat mill or a coffee or spice grinder. HTML Comment Box is loading comments...
